Whitby

A day in Whitby
I recorded this day sort of like a diary written as and when things happened or i thought something for a project for uni, I actually really enjoyed it and I'm going to make a habit of it.
Here are some photos i took during the day.
Lives Living and Lives Lived.
Miles and miles of 'lucky' heather fields. They're really beautifully enchanting.
This place makes me thing of the make believe world of fairy tails. Very peaceful and serene.
I wish I had a car so i could stop where ever i want where as on a coach trip i have to take my snaps from the window and don't get to explore. I leave that part to my imagination for now!

I ended the day with sand in my hair sand, in my ears, sand in my bags and sand in my tights. Sand everywhere. And we didn't even go on the beach!!
Wind
I loved being away from city life and being by the sea.
Makes a nice change.

Doodles.

---
A few recent doodles
I still can't decide what to do to her hair, I kind of like it the way it is but part of me wants to colour it solid black.

Sometimes at night I draw in bed with the lights off and my eyes closed whatever comes to mind. Above Middle; tea and cakes and Right; hair braids and flowers butterflies and foxes.
boys always look like girls.
My scanner is broken so I'm having to photograph things so sorry for the not too brilliant quality!

'Even though I haven't seen you in years, yours is a funeral I'd fly to from anywhere'
Why? - These Few Presidents
This is one of my favourite lyrics.
Makes you think, doesn't it?

SetTheBallRolling.

The only miniature people in this world are the voices in our heads.
Below are a selection of images that were used to support my installation.
Cheeky.
It's a little sinister and creepy but I like it.
Just a few of the people I made for my final major project, I had so much fun doing this with a few moments of panicking before I got the ball comfortably rolling I was happy with how it all turned out and the feedback I've had. Makes it all worth it in the end :)
These are the images of them before the exhibit (above) getting out and about in this big old world.

Well, here it is! My very first proper blog post!
Hope you enjoy
